A bright student in 8th grade in St. Mary's High School, Jogeshwari (East), she has refused to let the odds of her life decide her future. An Oval on the Crutches of a Family

Financial struggles have plagued Pallavi's family for the past several years. The only breadwinner in the family, her mother would go around selling garments, trying to make ends meet. Pallavi's father is unwell and incapable of working; hence the entire burden of sustaining the household has fallen on her ever-so-fragile mother. Despite her endeavors, the family's meager income is not sufficient for even the necessities, let alone to afford Pallavi a decent education. 

Pallavi's Unbroken Spirit

Pallavi fights to uphold her right to an education. She is a bright and determined young learner set on creating a future of her own, a future in which she can liberate her family from their woes. Her commitment to learning surely does honor the possibilities offered to impoverished children, for she continues to excel in her studies while supporting her mother to the best of her ability regarding household chores. It is this unyielding spirit that proves that nothing can kill hope in the lives of people.
